Orchids

The queens in my garden are my Orchids. They need bright and indirect light. They need water, best with an atomizer or sprayer. My Orchids grow in various sizes. Some like the Cattleya which creates itself over 50 species exemplify the beauty of these plants. Others like the Laeliocattleya appear very fragrant. Most of my orchids belong to the huge family of Dendrobium, which count over 1000 species in an area between India, Philippines and Australia. It is difficult to generalize about cultivation. They like to grow on rocks as well as on swampy ground. No matter in which size these flowers come along, they are all fantastic.
