My name is Ni Wayan Sari Murti and I am born on Bali, a small island of Indonesia.
Ni is the first name for all Balinese women, ( I is used for all men. )
Wayan is the name for the first child, because on this island this name gives the succession of birth. So the first child is called Wayan or Putu, the second one Nengah or Made, the third one Nyoman, and the fourth child is named Ketut. With the fifth child the circle of names start again with Wayan.
